Prior to WWII the Navy had 70,000 civilians working at international military installations. After Pearl Harbor these civilians were replaced by naval construction crews, called Seabees, who could drop their tools, grab their weapons and defend the base against invading forces. This diecast Willys SeaBee Jeep is a tribute to those heroic soldiers. Under the hood is a detailed Go Devil engine. There is a side mounted shovel and axe and a spare tire and jerry can in the rear. Even the windshield folds down like a real Jeep. Outstanding!

Dissappointing paint job. Much like looking at a black and white photo from the period only blue and white. Beautifull detail tho. Nice to have a Navy CB version of this Jeep. Fairfields service is excellent.
