Description

Russian auto maker GAZ launched the Volga M-21 in 1955. Based on mid Fifties Classics Ford styling and technology the M-21 changed very little during its 15 year production run ending in 1970. Now for the first time American diecast collectors can own the last GAZ M-21! 1950s technology Russians could purchase in the seventies! Arrives ready to display with a gleaming waterfall chrome "baleen" grille, detailed interior and workmanship that's better than the real car. Sure to add interest to any diecast collection!

    Excellent diecast model

For the price, this is an excellent diecast model. After all, where else can you find a model of the Gaz Volga? The detail is of high quality. The gloss paint is excellent! It seems like Lucky puts more quality into their models than other makers. Pl

Wish new diecast models were lighter

When I picked up this Volga the first time it felt like plastic; it isn't. Newer diecast models must be pot metal. The alloy mfgs are using has to be cast really heavy so the car doesn't get broken. Not this GAZ; it must be quality aluminum/zinc alloy. (L

I keep reaching for the GAZ

I haven't discovered how to update a review on Fairfield Collectibles' site. I often write reviews because someone gave an undeserved review to a product; this review is for that purpose. Lol; I'm writing a review to balance my own review! I first rated L

    Lucky may Disappoint Collectors

If you count the hood and trunk (boot & bonnet) only two of the five doors of this shiny black 'limo' open. OK for operators, collectors might be disappointed, but where else can you get a Gaz Volga. I was going to say that operators will be happy since t
