Description

President Reagan's Limo was a modified 972 Lincoln Continental and was delivered to the White House in 1974. The limo shared many of the features of a '72 but had upgrades to later features, notably the tail lights. The fully loaded automobile also had external microphones to allow occupants to hear outside noises, full armor plate, bulletproof glass, and racks for the Secret Service to store submachine guns. This presidential state car was the vehicle in which President Gerald Ford was shot at by Sara Jane Moore, and that transported President Ronald Reagan to the hospital after the attempted assassination thereof in March 1981.

    Reagan Lincoln Limo Correction

Well, I believe I owe you an apology regarding the point I made about the year of President Reagan's Lincoln. I did some further research and found his Lincoln is officially listed as 1972, and yet it has the taillights of the 1975 through 1978 models. I guess it was a custom design for the presidential car. So even though I don't really understand, I stand corrected and should have known better than to question your model. Regards, W.P. Maceri

    Reagan Lincoln Limo

I couldn't help but notice that the Reagan Lincoln Limo you feature is referred to as a 1972, when looking at the rear image you show it's actually a 1975 through 1978 based on the vertical "V" shaped taillights located at each end of the rear fenders. The 1972 had 2 horizontal taillights separated by the middle license plate. This is the first time I've seen an error like this in a Die cast model car, and I have been collecting them for over 20 years. It's a beautiful replica and will be my next purchase. Check it out, Regards, W.P. Maceri

    1972 PRES. REAGAN LIMO

THIS ITEM IS AS SUPERB AS ALL THE OTHER PRESIDENTIAL LIMO'S I HAVE PURCHASED FROM FAIRFIELD. THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS VERY GOOD. THE FINISH IS GREAT AND EASY TO MAINTAIN. A GREAT ADDITION TO MY PRESIDENTIAL LIMO COLLECTION. NEVER DISAPPOINTED WITH FAIRFIELD PRODUCTS.
