1972 Volkswagen Super Beetle - red 1:43 Scale Diecast Model by Lucky

I have been looking for a model of the 1972 Super Beetle for many years. While I was hoping to find a blue one, like my first VW, I finally found the red one with Fairfield Collections. It's an excellent model to display for sentimental purposes (I bought my VW while in the Army so I could visit my new girlfriend -- who later became my wife). We've had two yellow ones since we married, both bad shape and one I restored before funding forced me to sell it, while the other one was in too much need of work and also was sold. Our daughter's first care in 1999 was a 1972 powder blue Super Beetle but it was totaled in an accident. So you can see why finding a model was important. Now, if Fairfield finds a nice royal blue one, I don't care what scale! (Posted on 7/11/2018)
