Good Kit
Kit is high quality and pretty well thought-out. I question the decision to have 33 different kinds of fasteners, and having so many of them left over upon completion - seems odd/wasteful. A few gripes with the finished product: the 'working' side windows are a useless feature that don't work well - so I just leave them up. Would prefer a remote control to activate light and sound features vs. trying to get aging fat fingers into the cabin to push tiny buttons and levers. Finally, while the overall instruction book is great, there is some detail lost to poor color quality and not being able to discern the orientation of some parts - so be ready to just kind of 'figure it out' here and there. On that note, if you get this kit ... leave the side mirrors for the very end when it's all done - I broke a side mirror in the process of mating the body to the rolling chassis and dealing with the wires - this penultimate part of the build could use clearer instructions, but I was able to figure it out. Looks really good sitting in my glass cabinet, in between my Agora Models Porsche 917K and Ferrari 250 GTO ... and it cost $500 less than both of those kits. Better value with IXO.
