The second generation (1968 -70) of the Dodge Charger is the most famous. Based on the Chrysler B-platform, it was styled to be distinctively different than the mid-size Dodge Coronet. Fully restored examples command the highest prices on the auction car market. Top of the line was the R/T model, with distinctive striping and the "High Impact" colors.
