In the 1960s, surf and hot-rod music was all the rage. The Beach Boys ruled the pop charts, with The Ventures, Jan & Dean, and The Surfaris. All these bands were part of a mini empire of rock, churning out records geared to the twin teenage obsessions of autos and the ocean. At the same time, Ed "Big Daddy" Roth was the king of the Southern California underground. His customized street machines and grotesque cartoons were iconic and unmistakable, and his "Rat Fink" character was an instantly recognizable symbol of the freewheeling beach and drag race scene. ACME is thrilled to offer this decked out Chevrolet G-Series Van featuring the Surf Fink. Adorning both sides of the van is an eye-catching Surf Fink catching a wave. Wicked 8 ball on the roof and a cool wave on the rear and Surf Rat license plates. Fully decorated with flames on the front, roof, and front quarter panels.
