77 Firebird Trans AM

1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 1:18 scale by Greenlight
The exterior detail and finish are very good however the rest of the model is a real let-down. It is roughly the equivalent to a 1:64 scale model blown up in size. The hood does not open so there is no engine detail, the front wheels are on a solid axle so do not move, let alone steer, etc. Overall, it's rather disappointing for the price.

Not worth the price
This car is very nicely done on the outside as far as the painting and the finish. Lacks a lot of detail that I would have expected spending $75 on this car. Not being able to open the hood to see an engine is disappointing and looking at a mediocre sticker for the gauges on the dash was surprising. Typically I am really happy with what I order from Fairfield but Greenlight left a lot to be desired from this purchase. I am thrilled with the other cars from this order but the Firebird feels like a large Hot Wheel.
