William Byron and Kyle Larson headlined a banner weekend for the Hendricks Motorsports organization at Circuit of the Americas. Byron became the first NASCAR Cup Series driver with multiple wins in the 2024 season with a dominant performance on Sunday March 24. With his RAPTOR No. 24 Chevrolet Byron was a force on the 20-turn 3.41-mile road course leading 42 of the 68 laps including the final 18 to score his second win of 2024. One day earlier 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson got the weekend kicked off in grand style with a victory in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at COTA. Larson won the pole in qualifying but had to start at the rear of the field due to a brake issue found before the race. Undeterred Larson drove his No. 17 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro towards the front of the field where he was able to pounce to the lead on the final lap as the two leaders ahead of him collided.
