The A-4C was a variant of the A-4 Skyhawk family, which was a compact, lightweight, and versatile aircraft designed for close air support and ground attack missions. The aircraft was powered by a single Pratt & Whitney J52 turbojet engine and had a maximum speed of over 600 mph. It was armed with a variety of weapons, including bombs, rockets, and missiles, and was equipped with a cockpit that was both simple and easy to operate. The A-4C was widely used during the Vietnam War, where it became known for its versatility and ability to carry out a variety of missions.
