Solido has hit a home run with their 1:18 scale Meyers Manx Dune Buggy diecast. This precision diecast replica model captures the essence of Bruce Meyers’ legendary creation to perfection.

Bruce Meyers created the first dune buggy in 1964. Based on a shortened VW Beetle floorplan Bruce fabricated a head-turning fiberglass body and used VWs air-cooled flat four engine and suspension to create one of the coolest and most recognizable cars of all time – the Meyers Manx dune buggy!

Solido has taken great care to faithfully recreate this sixties classic in large 1:18 scale diecast. The complex curves of the Manx bodywork are accurately recreated and painted an eye-popping vibrant red. The interior includes a shift lever, center mounted dash panel with instruments and twin high back bucket seats. Out back the engine is fully wired and plumbed with visible air cleaners, distributor and chrome exhaust. The satin finished five spoke mag wheels are shod with BFGoodrich All-Terrain rubber that are ready to hit the dunes!
