M2 Machines diecast cars specialize in 1:64 scale American vehicles that other manufacturers often skip — obscure muscle cars, trucks, and everyday classics from the 1940s through the 1990s. Produced by Castline, Inc. and designed in California, M2 Machines built its name on collector-grade detail packed into a pocket-sized scale.

About M2 Machines

M2 Machines is the diecast model line of Castline, Inc., based in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Founded in 2007, the company launched its flagship Auto-Thentics series in 2008 to focus on American cars from the 1950s, '60s, and '70s that mainstream diecast brands had largely left uncovered.

Design and product development for M2 Machines takes place in California, with manufacturing based in Asia. The brand has grown to include 1:64 and 1:24 scale releases, alongside a now-discontinued 1:18 line.

What Makes M2 Machines Collectible

M2 Machines built its reputation on collector-grade authenticity at 1:64 scale — a size where fine detail is easy to lose. Its models are known for opening features, accurate stance and wheel/tire proportions, and subject selection that favors overlooked variants (delivery vans, panel trucks, forgotten trim levels) over the usual highlight-reel muscle cars, giving longtime collectors genuinely new subjects to chase.

Popular M2 Machines Series

Two lines stand out in M2 Machines' catalog:

Auto-Thentics: M2 Machines' original series, launched in 2008 to spotlight American cars from the 1950s–70s that other diecast brands rarely reproduce.
Diorama sets: Multi-piece releases that pair a vehicle with a themed diorama base, such as a service station or delivery scene, for a more complete display.
