Supercharged Stingray: '61 Corvette Grand Sport Gasser
Unlike any of its successors, the original blueprint for the Corvette Grand Sport started out as an act of rebellion by Zora Arkus-Duntov, a name that has been synonymous with the Corvette's development in its early years. The first Grand Sport was a thoroughbred racing car that was developed against GM's and, allegedly, even the government's wishes. ACME Trading presents our take on a 1961 Chevrolet Corvette GS Gasser! Decked out in a beautiful Admiral Blue Metallic paint with white center stripe and featuring the iconic red hash marks on the front fender. Lurking under the hood is a 327 Supercharged engine with racing exhaust providing all the power to the drag wheels and tires. Fully opening features with detailed interior and so much more!! This 1:18 scale 1961 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Gasser by Acme transforms America's sports car into a straight-line beast, finished in striking Admiral Blue with aggressive custom graphics. Limited to just 204 serialized pieces, it features opening hood, doors, and trunk, while a fully wired and plumbed supercharged 327 V-8 erupts through the front-hinged hood for maximum drag-strip attitude. Detailed interior craftsmanship, rolling drag tires, and posable front wheels complete this wild fusion of Corvette performance heritage and vintage gasser style.
