1989 Mazda MX-5 Miata
I was very pleased to find this diecast on Fairfield after searching everywhere on the internet; it's quite difficult to find Miata diecasts of any generation that are larger than 1/64 scale. The Norev model is nicely built and a great example of the NA generation of the Miata. I like that this one also came with a removable hardtop; that's a great detail. It's probably asking too much, but it would be fantastic if Norev made a variation that had functional pop-up headlights (not lights that function, just the pop-up function). I wish Fairfield also had an ND model, but I was able to find one on eBay that shipped from Japan. Hopefully Fairfield can add other Miatas in the future that are 1/24 or 1/18 scale.
