About the Fiat 500 Abarth
In 2007 the Fiat Group introduced its successor to the original Fiat 500, reinterpreting the classic 1957 city car in a modern form. The sportier Abarth version followed, distinguished by air intakes, side skirts, and larger bumpers, along with a turbocharged engine, a distinctive sport exhaust note, and lowered suspension for improved handling.
