About this reissue
These field artillery pieces were first produced in 1958 by Louis Marx and Company for its Battleground military playsets and were included in numerous sets over the following decades. The original was spring-loaded and later changed to a non-firing version to comply with safety laws, and the axle was updated from a single metal rod to integrated plastic axles. This reproduction is manufactured using the original PL-934 mold.
