About the CF-5D
The CF-5D was the two-seat variant of the CF-5, a Canadian-built version of the Northrop F-5 Freedom Fighter produced by Canadair for the Canadian Armed Forces. Flown by 419 "Moose" Squadron, based at CFB Cold Lake, the CF-5D served in advanced fighter training, helping prepare pilots in supersonic flight, air-to-air tactics and weapons delivery.
