The EAV-8B Matador known in Spain as the AV-8B Harrier II is a key component of the Spanish Armed Forces' naval aviation fleet. Operated primarily by the Spanish Navy's 9th Squadron aboard the aircraft carrier Juan Carlos I this V/STOL aircraft excels in both close air support and maritime strike missions.
