About the F-16A

The F-16A was the first production model of the F-16 Fighting Falcon, developed by General Dynamics for the U.S. Air Force in the late 1970s. It features a frameless bubble canopy for improved visibility, side-stick controls and a fly-by-wire system for high agility, powered by a Pratt & Whitney F100 engine capable of speeds over Mach 2.
