About the F/A-18E Super Hornet
The F/A-18E Super Hornet is a twin-engine, carrier-capable multirole fighter developed by Boeing for the U.S. Navy as an evolution of the original Hornet, with a larger airframe, increased range, and greater payload capacity. VFA-37 "Ragin' Bulls," based at NAS Oceana, flies the type in both air-to-air and air-to-ground roles as part of the Navy's carrier air wings.
