About Polar Lights

Polar Lights was established by Tom Lowe at Playing Mantis in 1996 to re-create out-of-production kits originally made by Aurora in the 1960s and 70s. It gained the Star Trek license in 2003, and in 2008 Lowe's Round 2, LLC acquired Polar Lights along with AMT and MPC.

What Makes Polar Lights Collectible

Polar Lights combines Aurora nostalgia with new tooling, including rubber-band action in its Haunted Manor series.
