About Siku

Siku is the trade name of Sieper Lüdenscheid GmbH & Co. KG, a German scale model maker headquartered in Lüdenscheid. The company was founded in 1921 by Richard Sieper as Sieper-Werke, originally producing metal tools and cutlery, and later items such as badges, medals and buckles. It began making toys in 1950 and registered the Siku trademark, a name formed from Sieper and the German word for plastics, Kunststoffe.

What Makes Siku Collectible

Siku models are known for solid die-cast construction at an approachable price, and the range spans sports cars, pickups, tractors and heavy trucks. That variety lets collectors build a themed set or give a durable gift to younger enthusiasts.
