About the SR-71 and D-21
The SR-71 Blackbird was a Lockheed-built, high-altitude, high-speed reconnaissance aircraft flown by the U.S. Air Force during the Cold War. The related D-21 was an unmanned reconnaissance drone, originally designed to be launched from a modified A-12/M-21 carrier aircraft.

The packaging and shipping was top notch! Sent in a box 3 times the size of the model braces with plenty of bubble wrap, there wasn't a crease or bend on the box at all. As far as the kit is considered I have yet to assemble it but it looks very high quality albeit very simple to construct. Definitely happy with everything.
