Entering service in 1942 the TBF Avenger was developed by the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps and first saw major action during the Battle of Midway. This 1/48 scale plastic kit replicates the TBF-1C variant as flown in June 1944 and features a rotating gun turret rubber tires metal aileron and flap shaft hundreds of photo-etched pieces an extremely detailed engine and authentic markings. Assembly required skill level 3. 15 ½ long.
