About the F-16 Fighting Falcon

Developed by General Dynamics for the U.S. Air Force and introduced in the late 1970s, the single-engine F-16 pairs a fly-by-wire control system with a bubble canopy for strong visibility and maneuverability in both air-to-air and air-to-ground roles.
