About the FIAT CR.42 Falco
The FIAT CR.42 Falco was an Italian biplane fighter that remained in frontline service well into the Second World War, despite the type being largely obsolete against contemporary monoplane fighters. The CN night-fighter variant was fitted with exhaust flame dampers and radio equipment for night interception duties.
