MERCURY REDSTONE - ROCKET DIECUT MODEL BY OLD MODERN HANDICRAFTS

Posted by John Rauschenberger on Jan 4th 2024

This quality of this model is questionable at best. Upon taking it from the box I had to bend the stem on the base to get it to stand straight. The red top of the rocket was similarly crooked and had to be bent to be made straight. The attention to detail is also not good. From a distance the model looks acceptable, but when examined closely it is crude at best. For it's price, I expected much more in terms of quality and attention to detail. As models of this Redstone rocket are very hard to find, I am keeping it. However, if others were readily available, I would have returned it.
