About the MH-53E Sea Dragon
The MH-53E Sea Dragon is a three-engine derivative of the twin-engine CH-53, developed for airborne mine countermeasures with U.S. Navy squadrons. Its added engine power allows it to tow the heavy sled-mounted sweeping systems used to detect and neutralize sea mines.
